In accordance with Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 (Title IX) and its implementing regulations (34 C.F.R. Part 106), Lake Park Community High School District 108 prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex. Sex discrimination includes discrimination on the basis of sex stereotypes, sex characteristics, pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation and/or gender identity. Sex-based harassment, as defined under Title IX and Board Policy 2:265, is a form of sex discrimination. The District’s prohibition against sex discrimination applies to applicants for employment, students, parents/guardians, employees, and third parties.

Reporting Title IX Sex Discrimination
Any person who wishes to report alleged sex discrimination should contact the Title IX Coordinator at (630) 529-3029 by email at titleix@lphs.org or any administrator or staff member in the District with whom they feel comfortable speaking. School employees who receive information about conduct that reasonably may constitute sex discrimination in violation of Board Policy 2:265 shall promptly forward the report or information to the Title IX Coordinator.
